  • Confidentiality is an important part of counselling. It helps set a safe and trusting environment. There are some exceptions in regard to specific legal/safety cases, which will be explained in detail at the beginning of your therapy.

  • You are in control of your therapy. We can focus on whatever you would like. Sometimes talking can start with “I don’t know where to begin”.

  • No, there is no limit to the number of sessions. Everyone is different and therapy is a highly personalised process. The ending of your therapy is something you can discuss with your therapist when the time arises.

  • Crying, feeling intense anger, or becoming overwhelmed during therapy is not only normal but often a sign of productive, deep processing. Your therapist offers you a safe space to be able to explore these emotions.
